A video package was shown of all the rivalries leading to tonight.
From the booth "JR" Jack Richards and "JBL" Jake "Buck" Louis welcomed everyone to the show as fireworks went off in the arena. They talked about the two major matches headlining tonight pay per view; CM Punk v. Rob Van Dam & AJ Styles v. Desmond Wolfe for the TFW Universal Championship.
A limo was shown ariving to the arena. TFW President Ned Turner stepped out. Richards: "It's Ned Turner!!! Remember last month at WrestleBowl TFW Chairman Chris Daniels gave him a mandatory leave of absence up to tonight. And now he's back."
Robert Roode def Kenny King to become the new TFW Mainstream Championship after the Payoff. After the match King looked upset as he walked to the back.
Shane McMillan interviewed the Universal AJ Styles. Styles said tonight all the attacks that he suffered from Wolfe conclude tonight as he walks out still Champion.
The camra was in the back as Steve Austin in the rest of the Empire was telling Kenny King how disappointed they were in him. Shannono Silveria got told King to watch and see how he retains his championship.
"The New Breed" Elijah Burke def Shannon Silveria following the Outer Limits Elbow to become the new Jackpot Champion.
CM Punk was in the back when he was approached by TFW President, Ned Turner. Turner: "I'm glad to see what you and RVD have done over the past three months of TFW. For that I'm going to reward you guys by giving the winner of your match a shot at the Universal Championship next month at Rampage."
The Yukaza (Magnum TOKYO & TAJIRI) def "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan & "The War Machine" Rhyno following the AV Star Press (shooting star press) on Rhyno.
Outside the office of Chris Daniels alot of yelling was heard.
Priceless (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase) def Hardcore Extreme (Matt & Kent Jade) after the Dreamstreet from DiBiase to Matt to become the new World Tag Team Champions.
A highlight package of Ace was shown.
Ace def Rene Dupree after the Ace In The Whole to become the new Intercontinental Champion.
Kid was shown making his way to the ring.
Kurt Angle def Kid following the Angle Slam. After the match Angle extended his hand for a hand shake but Kid turned his back and walked off as the fans booed.
Steve Austin got word that Ned Turner added a stipulation to the Punk/Van Dam match. Austin: "What? He can't do that! I'm runnin this damn show! This is bull shit! Tell him I want to talk to him in the ring tonight!"
CM Punk came down to the ring and said that he wanted Rob Van Dam to vow to join the Straight-Edge society in his defeat tonight. Van Dam came out and uped the anty and said Punk must leave TFW in his defeat. Both men agreed to each others stipulation.
CM Punk def Rob Van Dam to become the #1 Contender to the TFW Universal Champion after the GTS. Van Dam got to his feet and stared down Punk. Punk smiled in his face and the two walked to the back together. Richards: "Van Dam is now part of the straight-Edge Society."
Desmond Wolfe was shown making his way to the ring with Stone Cold Steve Austin.
AJ Styles def Desmond Wolfe (w/ Steve Austin) following the Styles Clash to retain the TFW Universal Championship. After the match Ned Turner made his way to the ring. He said he was here to make Steve Austin a proposition. He offered a match that would put both of their management positions on the line. Each man picks one wrestler to represent him to wrestle at Rampage and the winner remains in TFW as the TFW President. Austin said he is not scared and he accepts. Turner walked to the back with AJ Styles as the show went to commercial.
